IMPORTANT NEWS- IISER Aptitude Test to be held in Mid-August.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is hoping to keep the IAT ( IISER Aptitude Test) in the month of August.

Due to the postponement of the IIT JEE Exams and the unclear results of many of the state and central boards, IAT also has been postponed, with a tentative date given to be in Mid-August.

IISER Accepts admissions through 3 modes:
  • Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology
  • State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)

They have in view of the current situation give the eligibility criteria to be 60% for +2 level for General candidates and 55% for SC/ST/OBC. If the student has not yet gotten the results of their board exam at the time fo the IAT, they can still be able to attend the exam.

The application portal for those appearing through the KVPY stream and the SCB stream (through the IAT) will open in the first week of June. The application portal for those appearing through the IIT-JEE channel will open after the declaration of the IIT-JEE results.

IISERS offers the integrated BS-MS degree programs, which is a 5-year course. It involved normal classroom learning integrated with research, engineering sciences, and economics.
