Do you lack motivation? In this article I have mentioned some of the best ways to motivate yourself when you are at your lowest.

Are you lacking the motivation to study? Is your bed way too comfy for you to get up and put in some work? You aren’t alone, a lot of people are struggling with this disease called procrastination. There are so many factors that can contribute to this-

  • Having no direction in life.
  • No set goals to achieve.
  • bad company
  • household problems
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Other health-related issues

These are some of the many things that can demotivate a student. There is a solution to every problem and in this article, I am going to share a few ways to motivate yourself and get back on the grind.

1. Use the 5 to 1 Rule-

This is a popular technique used by many and something that I personally used. In this technique, you count from 5 to 1 and then get up in an instant without giving your brain the time to rethink. You can do this to wake up in the morning, get started with your studies, or kickstart your workout.

2. Pick a subject of interest-

If you don’t feel like studying, just pick a subject that you like and start from there. You can later move on to other subjects once you build the momentum.

3. Use fun study Techniques-

Don’t make study a burden. Do it as if it is a habit of yours just like brushing your teeth in the morning. Use fun study techniques like using colorful pens, using sticky notes, and flags to annotate. If you start enjoying your studies, you will automatically be motivated to do it.

4. set goals-

what are you even studying for? Where do you want to be 5 or 10 years from now? Have you decided yet? Ask these questions to yourself. Observe what you are thinking and your future will flash before your eyes. If you want to succeed in life you have to study. Be it fear, but this will most certainly motivate you.

5. Dream-

the biggest driving force towards success is passion. If you have dreams and the passion to achieve them, you will be motivated to study no matter what.

6- Learn from other peoples success stories-

Look at people around you and learn from their success. Always follow people who are influential, who have done something big in life, who will also guide you to be a better person. By looking at other people’s stories and learning from them will motivate you to do the same.

7- Use creative study platforms

Traditional classroom learning can bore you and you won’t be motivated to study. Start using fun and creative platforms that are available for everyone online. One such app is doubt buddy. Doubtbuddy is the best doubt-solving app where you can get instant solutions to all your doubts with just a snap. Learn with the best tutors and make your studies more interesting and enjoyable.

These were some of the most trusted and used techniques by many students to help them motivate themselves. But always remember, it is the discipline that will take you further, motivation is short-termed.
