JEE MAIN 2022-ARE NCERT BOOKS SUFFICIENT FOR ITS PREPARATION?

many students doubt whether NCERT is adequate for the JEE Main exam. There are numerous books available for preparation, and determining which one is the best can be tough.

Collecting JEE study material can be a difficult task that consumes significant time and effort, leaving you with less time to prepare. Because your JEE syllabus is mostly made up of knowledge from class 11 and class 12 textbooks, this is fairly simple.

As you may be aware, JEE consists of two phases: JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. These tests employ a variety of strategies and approaches, but the syllabus differs just a little. While JEE Mains is easier than JEE Advanced, the study materials and topics that must be covered are fairly similar.

Many people use NCERT books to prepare for JEE Main 2022. Students studying for the JEE Main exam want to perform well. As a result, many students doubt whether NCERT is adequate for the JEE Main exam. There are numerous books available for preparation, and determining which one is the best can be tough.

Why NCERTs are important?

Sometimes, questions from NCERT texts appear in the JEE Main exam. If you are well versed in the basic principles of NCERT, you will be able to answer all of your queries with a high level of clarity.

Students choose to study from the NCERTs first as they cover almost all topics from the syllabus. The syllabus for JEE Main and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are substantially the same. NCERT books are among the most valuable sources of information for students.

NCERTs for chemistry-

Around 80% of the Chemistry questions in the JEE Mains exam will be derived directly or indirectly from NCERT. You should be able to answer 65 percent of the questions without trouble if you study NCERT thoroughly.

Chemistry is a high-scoring topic in JEE Mains, therefore devote as much practice time as possible to it. Mock tests can be downloaded and practiced on the internet. However, for areas like Physical Chemistry, additional JEE Main books and study resources may be required.

NCERTs for Physics-

Physics is another subject of the JEE Main Examination Paper-I, and I would advise students to examine additional books in addition to NCERT for their Physics preparation. Candidates can also enroll in JEE Main test coaching programs because several topics and concepts in the Physics section necessitate guidance. The NCERT exemplar is also quite beneficial for JEE Main preparation.

NCERTs for Mathematics-

In the case of mathematics, some questions from NCERT texts were repeated in the JEE Main exam exams. NCERT books comprehensively teach the essential principles of the mathematical sciences, and former JEE Main candidates believe that studying these books made their preparation much more defined and stronger. As a result, students preparing for the JEE Main should not disregard NCERT books. NCERT textbooks are required reading for students preparing for engineering and medical entrance exams.

Many experts and previous JEE Main toppers say that, in addition to NCERTs, other books should be read to gain a deeper understanding of the subject because none can guarantee how the questions will be framed. Popular reference books are often suggested by toppers. By including these books in your preparation, students can be assured of getting a high score for admittance into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, or qualification for JEE Advanced.
