NEET(National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is one of the most competitive exams in India and is conducted every year for students who want to pursue MBBS, Dental (BDS) and AYUSH, etc. in govt. and private institutions in India or abroad. The syllabus of NEET is very vast and difficult and requires a good study technique to finish it on time.

If you don’t have much time left for your preparation or want to finish the syllabus on time so that you can revise and practice, you can take some help from this article.

Tips on how to finish the syllabus on time-

1- Keep your resources ready-

Make a list of all the books or other resources that you are going to use for your preparation. Get them ready so that you don’t waste much time searching for them. You can use the book list that previous years toppers have used.

2. The resources should be limited-

Keep your resources limited. Remember that less is more. Do not buy every book that is out there in the market or if you see a friend of yours reading it. Stick to the booklist you have created for yourself and study them thoroughly.

3. read your NCERTs-

Majority of the questions that are asked in the exam get covered by studying the NCERTs. NCERTs cover almost 80% of the syllabus so if you study them thoroughly, you will be able to cover most of the syllabus.

4. create short notes and summaries-

Create short notes and summaries of the important topics or chapters that you are reading. Learn all the important definitions and create flashcards. this will make revision easier as you won’t have to read the entire book again and you can just focus on the important topics.

5. Create a daily study routine-

creating a daily study schedule is a must. Study every day and do not lose track. Be disciplined if you want to clear the exam. Study for at least 6 hours a day if you want to finish the syllabus on time. Do take breaks in between to relax your brain.
