On April 26, 2022, the second term of CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams will begin. The exams in semester 2 will include both subjective and objective questions. The term-1 papers only contained objective or multiple-choice questions. CBSE released sample papers for the 10th and 12th grades in January. Subjective pattern questions will be included in the Term 2 exams. As a result, the sample question papers for Class 10 and 12 are of the subjective variety. Candidates will be assessed throughout the year, regardless of Term 1 and Term 2, using the new CBSE Exam format 2021-22. In view of the growing epidemic, the decision was made to divide the curriculum into two terms in order to alleviate the load on pupils. CBSE TERM 2 EXAM PATTERN

CBSE Board Term 2 Exam Pattern Of Class 10-

  • The exam will be descriptive. This descriptive type exam will include questions in a range of types (case-based/situation-based, open-ended-short response/long answer).
  • Toal no. of marks-50 (40 marks for the theory)
  • The exam will last for 2 hours.
  • The remaining half of the syllabus will be used to form the question papers.

NOTE: The Board has decided on an alternative evaluation policy for Term 2 in advance. If a conventional descriptive test is not possible at the end of Term 2, a 90-minute MCQ-based exam, identical to the Term 1 Exam, will be delivered.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to release term 1 results shortly. It should be noted that the Board has not yet declared an official date for the release of the CBSE results. However, the results are scheduled to be announced this week. Registered students who took the term 1 exam will be able to check the results on the official website once it is available.
