According to the National Testing Agency, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) will be held in April and May. (NTA). After the ministry of education decided to increase the number of attempts, JEE Main was held in February, March, April, and August-September of last year. More than 26 lakh persons took the admission exam in 2021.

Announcement Made By NTA-
The NTA has made a statement that has taken many aspirants JEE Mains aspirants by surprise. The JEE Main exam will be held twice a year this year(Previously 4), according to the NTA. The JEE Main 2022 exam will be held in April and May of 2022.
The NEET-UG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) would most likely be held between the third and first weeks of July, according to a conversation between Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education officials. In 2021, around 26 lakh people applied for medical, engineering, and associated degrees.
Before The Change-
Students take the JEE (Main), a computer-based multi-session exam, to get admission to top engineering institutions and qualify for the JEE (Advanced), the entrance exam for Indian Institutes of Technology. The number of attempts granted to a student increased from one to two in 2019 and to four in 2021. Some of the statistics show how taking multiple attempts at a high-pressure exam aided aspirants greatly. The candidate’s ultimate score in 2021 was calculated by the best four attempts.
Validity Of JEE Mains Scores-
The JEE Main score is only valid for the current year. This means that if a candidate takes JEE Main 2022, he or she can only apply for admission for the academic year 2022-23.
Application Form-
The NTA website will shortly have the JEE Main 2022 application form available. Candidates must check their eligibility criteria for JEE main exam before filling out the application form. The application forms for both phases will be released separately (April & May). Candidates must fill out the JEE Main application form before the deadline to be eligible to take the exam.
