The National Testing Agency administers the NEET exam. In order to attain their goals, aspirants preparing for NEET 2022, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, should focus on their weak areas and practice as much as possible.
Candidates who wish to attend medical school must first pass an entrance examination. The only sciences included on the NEET are physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany. Education Qualifications-
Candidates must pass all four subjects: physics, chemistry, biology, and English. A 50 percent aggregate in Biology, Physics, and Biology is necessary for general category students.
Age Requirement-
Applicants must be 17 years old to apply for NEET-UG State and All India Quota Seats. The maximum allowed age is 25. There is a five-year grace period for ST, SC, and OBC.
Exam Pattern-
The NEET UG Exam consists of three topics: chemistry, physics, biology, and zoology. There are 180 multiple-choice questions in total, with a time limit of three hours. For each correct response, the candidate receives four points, and for each incorrect answer, one point is deducted.
Importance of NCERTS-
All NCERT books should be thoroughly studied by NEET candidates. It is important to read the NCERTs as they cover most of the syllabus in a simple and easy manner. Candidates should not rely entirely on sample papers and previous exams to cover the whole syllabus, as these can only provide a basic grasp and approach for addressing questions.
Cut-Off –
Students must have a minimum score of 610 in order to be considered for a government medical seat. Candidates should become acquainted with the exam’s criteria and requirements, as well as the overall test structure, which will help them in their studies.
